译“解铃还须系铃人“ (1)

其说：做翻译打发时间吧。哈哈哈，正对我的胃口。

所以会分几次Blogs 与你共享我及BaB 的想法。这次就从时事例子开始吧。

习大大与拜大哥通电后说：《解铃还须系铃人》。美方应对世界表明诚意。

Quora 平台很多翻译：

1）直译 (literary translate)：“He who tied the bell to the tiger must take it off, America should show the world sincerity"

2）意译(interpret)： “none of my business”, or - “whoever caused the problem should go fix the problem”.

3）“白话“译（sociolinguistic）- 就是 “speak English” - 用美国的思维方式来表述。也就是直接的说：我….你….你们…： Through these words, Xi Jinping （我）rejected Biden's （你）efforts to pressure China into abandoning Russia on the Ukraine issue, while blaming the US and NATO（你们）for the crisis.

这“白话“译的名字是我们乱创的。记得tea ceremony 的《新郎新娘梳头仪式》的翻译吗？我用iPone Note 直译后作了少量修整. BaB嗤之以鼻说：What kind of English is this? 然后盘问我每句话的含义来改写。Wow, 真的简洁多了。

所以我们最爱的中译英方法是“白话“译，当然我觉得speak Singlish 也可以lah!
